I was born in England and grew up in Toronto, Canada. After high school, I moved to Southern California to pursue my art studies. I attended Pasadena City College and California State University at Long Beach where I received my B.A. and Masters degrees in Art History. I was an art teacher for 30 years in California high schools. I retired from education in 2008 and currently reside in Bremen, Georgia. I continued to be a prolific artist, working primarily in acrylic and oils, and later embraced the possibilities inherent in digital art. 

All of my prints begin with an original concept and are then digitally manipulated to produce a final creation, which is printed in limited edition.
None of my works are titled. I find titles limiting as to the interpretation of my artwork, and I  prefer that the viewer form an emotional connection with it without predetermining that connection with a suggesting title.
